Rigger Certifications
NCCER’s Rigger & Signal Person Certification Programs includes assessments and practical exams that meet or exceed ASME B30 and OSHA 29 CFR part 1926 subpart CC standards. Each level builds on the previous one to ensure a clear progression of skills and knowledge.
Candidates meeting the requirements will be granted certified status for a period of five years from the issuance of certification.

Certification Requirements
Participants earn NCCER Rigger or Signal Person Certifications by:
- Passing the program-level assessment
- Passing the corresponding practical examination(s)
- Submitting the Affirmation of successful substance abuse test completion
- Uploading a photo to their NCCER Account.
