NCCER Publishes Update to Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Curriculum
The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) has published the fourth edition of its Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (IMM) curriculum. All four levels of the IMM program are available now.
The fourth edition features robust updates to both the content and presentation, modernized from the curriculum’s previous revision in 2007. Developed in conjunction with experienced subject matter experts from the industry, the newest edition of IMM reflects current tools, codes, methods, technologies and best practices for this rapidly growing craft specialization.
Enhancements to the print curriculum include a newly designed layout with updated images and high-quality graphics and artwork. New digital resources such as dynamic presentations, interactive figures and e-texts are also in development and will be available through the NCCERconnect platform to provide an engaging and effective online learning experience.
