NCCER’s Complete Millwright Fourth Edition Now Available
The complete fourth edition of the Millwright curriculum from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is now available. With a growing national demand for expertise in installing and maintaining machinery, this fully updated four-level program is designed to provide comprehensive and relevant training in the millwright craft.
The revised curriculum features key content updates to reflect modern tools, approaches and best practices. The fourth edition also contains increased coverage of maintenance topics and a more focused approach to the most relevant job skills.
NCCER’s Millwright curriculum moves to four total levels in the fourth edition, reduced from five levels from previous editions to fit within a standard four-year industry training program. More than 100 hours of elective modules are available for longer programs to cover more in-depth training. The four levels include:
- Millwright Level 1, Fourth Edition (©2021): 162.5 Total Hours
- Millwright Level 2, Fourth Edition (©2022): 212.5 Total Hours
- Millwright Level 3, Fourth Edition (©2022): 212.5 Total Hours
- Millwright Level 4, Fourth Edition (©2023): 207.5 Total Hours
In addition to the print curriculum now available, millwright courses reflecting the new edition are currently being built for NCCERconnect.
